In her teen years, Ashley ventured into the world of graphic design. Her artistry was largely driven by the vividness of glossy magazines and striking album covers that adorned her bedroom walls. Her high school experience was predominantly spent in the art room, where her teacher allowed her to freely nurture her artistic ventures. Ashley started her professional journey as a makeup artist on photo sets in her early twenties. However, as time passed, she shifted her focus towards professional photography. By her mid-twenties, she made a significant mark in the professional photography sphere, revolutionizing her professional identity. ​ You can observe clear traces of her childhood elements - fashion, rock and roll, and popular culture - reflected in her distinct photographic style today. Owner / Photographer, PHOTO Editor, Makeup Artist Thomas Good Thomas, is the devoted companion of the photographer and a fundamental support system at Missile Studios. Although he primarily works as a tradesman, you can often find him assisting in various tasks around the studio, managing inquiries and supervising some of the back of the house operations at Missile Studios. INFO INFO INFO FAQ Our Process Payment Turnaround Rush Cancellation Policies Terms & Policies BOOK NOW Session Duration "Session Duration" refers to the total time spent during your appointment, excluding any additional beauty services. Each package includes a specific session duration and number of sets to allow for adequate shooting time. Within the session duration, time will be allotted for a brief consultation, the photoshoot itself, and any necessary set changes like wardrobe or backdrops. Understanding Session Duration The hourly rate for a studio session is set at $99. ​ ​ Each package comes with a designated session duration that is suitable for capturing the required number of images included in the package. ​ ​ Please note that session time encompasses more than just the duration spent in front of the camera. It encompasses the entire appointment, including a brief consultation, as well as any wardrobe and set changes. It is important to avoid allocating excessive time towards wardrobe and set changes as it may affect the time available for actual shooting. ​ ​ If your session goes beyond the designated time stated in your package, a fixed fee of $99 will be applied at the at start of each consecutive hour. Any additional time utilized should be settled during checkout. Additional time can only be accommodated if it is readily available. If you have purchased beauty services, this time will not be deducted from your session time, as additional time has already been allocated to accommodate this service. Please include a note in the booking form if you anticipate needing extra session time. This will help us make suitable arrangements for your appointment. Understanding Standard Turnaround 2-4 week (bd) Final image turnaround Missile Studios operates on a first-come-first-serve basis, aiming to serve clients efficiently. The duration stated represents the average waiting time for clients to receive their final imagery. The estimated processing time for photos depends on factors like quantity, complexity, and client volume. ​ ​ During busy periods, processing may take longer. ​ If you require expedited service before the designated timeframe, add rush to you package at the time of booking to prioritize your order. See Rush for more details.​ ​ If you didn't choose Rush when scheduling your appointment online and now need urgent imagery before the due date, we may accommodate your request (subject to availability) within 3-5 days. However, a rush fee is required to prioritize your request. Once the specified rushed imagery has been communicated to us, expect to receive an invoice via email for the Rush fee to be paid. Payment must be made before proceeding. Note that a minimum fee of $150 applies to rushed orders.
